I feel a bit the tawdry whore because I came up with the verse structure while soundchecking on stage with The Beatings. One of my earlier Garageband experiments. Mike and I have played this tune live in various incarnations, and have re-recorded it in some high-fidelity environments, but this version, sonically akin to seeing a person through frosted glass, still does it for me.
