I was spending a Saturday in, preparing mentally for New Year’s Eve, determined to finish Light in August. I did. Makes a guy want to populate a small fictional world with gamblers, reluctant widows, and old folks full of quiet mystery. Not to mention hills and valleys of tremelo. Enjoy.
